Liberon Superior 8 Year Protection Woodstain provides robust protection from UV and harsh weather conditions.

It has a quick drying water based satin finish with low VOC content together with a microporous formulation that allows the wood to breathe.

It perfect for all exterior and interior vertical woodwork.

Preparation

The wood to be stained must be clean, dry, in good condition and not greasy. Sand corners and edges to round them slightly.

Bare or refurbished wood: Sand with sandpaper to obtain a smooth surface and remove dust. Apply a suitable wood treatment product.

Exotic woods, oak, chestnut: Dilute the 1st coat with 10% water and apply a second non-diluted coat. On greasy woods, degrease the surface with acetone.

Stained woods: Brush to remove any loose or flaking finishes. Use sandpaper to obtain a smooth surface and remove dust.

Application

Ideal application conditions are between 12° and 25°C, in dry, wind-free weather. Stir the product well before and during use using a wide stirrer. Apply in 2 coats. For a spray application, dilute with 10% water.

If you prefer to collect products in store, please call us in advance to ensure stock is available at the store as some product ranges may be stocked at our separate warehouse facility. If this is the case and you arrive at the store without informing us, we may not be able to provide the product or there may be a wait.
Please return your unwanted product to us within 30 days for a refund on the item.

However we are unable to accept returns of any paint where we have mixed the colour for you on our mixing machines. This is bespoke for the customer and we are unable to re-sell it.
Any products marked DD (Direct Delivery) come direct from the manufacturer and therefore may incur a re-stocking fee.
