Johnstone's Quick Dry Polyurethane Varnish

Johnstone's Trade Woodworks Durable Quick Dry Polyurethane Varnish- is a specially formulated water-based varnish for use on doors, windows, furniture and all interior smooth-planed timber. It is non-yellowing and provides a hardwearing, scratch-resistant finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood. Reinforced with polyurethane for superior durability, our Woodworks Durable Quick Dry Polyurethane Varnish will cover approximately 12 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the timber, and is touch dry in one hour and recoatable after 2-4 hours, although conditions of high humidity will prolong drying time.

Coverage- Approximately 12 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being varnished.

Application- Stir Quick Dry Polyurethane Varnish thoroughly before use. Apply two or more coats of varnish evenly, by brush along the grain paying particular attention to the end grain. Do not overlap the brush strokes. On bare or new wood the first coat can be thinned with up to 10% clean water, followed by two further coats of undiluted varnish. Sand down lightly between coats. Do not apply when temperature is below 10˚C. This product is not suitable for application over ferrous metal.

Drying Time- Touch dry in 1 hour. Recoatable after 4 hours
