Trade Aqua Guard Primer Undercoat- is an innovative, water-based primer and undercoat that is ideal for interior wood. It has excellent adhesion to previously painted surfaces and most porous substrates. When used over bare timber it prevents resins from staining through into the finish. It acts as the perfect undercoat to the Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Guard Gloss, Satin or Matt finishes with excellent opacity and adhesion.

Coverage-13sq mts per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted.

Application-Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Stir well before use. Easy to apply by brush, roller, and spray. Avoid overspreading. Do not apply in temperatures below 8°C or externally when rain is imminent. For best results use a synthetic brush.

Drying-Touch dry in 1-2 hours Recoatable after 4-6 hour

Please Note- tinted colours cannot be cancelled or returned once mixed.

Please return your unwanted product to us within 30 days for a refund on the item.

However we are unable to accept returns of any paint where we have mixed the colour for you on our mixing machines. This is bespoke for the customer and we are unable to re-sell it.

Any products marked DD (Direct Delivery) come direct from the manufacturer and therefore may incur a re-stocking fee.
