Johnstone's Trade Anti-Slip Additive- is a silica quartz-based additive powder for use with all Johnstone's Trade exterior concrete floor paints, which gives a tough and durable slip-resistant performance. Simply add Johnstone's Trade Anti-Slip Additive to the paint just before use, alternatively, the product can be sprinkled directly onto wet application of the floor coating at a rate of 0.5kg to 1kg per square metre.
Coverage- Approximately 0.5–2kg per 5 litre tin or sprinkle at a rate of 0.5–1kg per square metre.
Application- Add directly to the paint, just before use at the rate of 0.5–2kg per 5 litre tin of paint and mix thoroughly. Weight of product used will depend on the degree of slip resistance required. Alternatively sprinkle directly onto wet application of the floor coating at a rate of 0.5kg to 1kg per square metre. When the coating is dry, any excess Anti Slip Additive should be swept away and a further 1 or 2 coats of the floor coating can be applied to seal the aggregate thoroughly, although this may reduce the slip resistance.
