Johnstone's Trade Stain Block Primer- is suitable for containing unsightly stains caused by nicotine, smoke, marker pen, wax crayon, graffiti, tannin and water. It provides a tough, durable matt coating that prevents stains from bleeding through from the substrate. Johnstone's Trade Stain Block Primer will not prevent stains caused by water damage unless the fault has been eradicated, and the substrate allowed to dry. Our Stain Block Primer can be used on plaster, masonry and wood, offers coverage of approximately eight square metres per litre, and can be overcoated with water-based emulsions.

Coverage- Johnstone’s Stain Block Primer will cover at the rate of approximately 8 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted.

Application- Stir thoroughly before use and apply by brush or roller, covering the stain and a surrounding area of 20cm to ensure maximum containment. Heavily soiled areas may require additional coats.

Drying Time- Under normal conditions touch dry and recoatable after 2-4 hours,

Please return your unwanted product to us within 30 days for a refund on the item.

However we are unable to accept returns of any paint where we have mixed the colour for you on our mixing machines. This is bespoke for the customer and we are unable to re-sell it.

Any products marked DD (Direct Delivery) come direct from the manufacturer and therefore may incur a re-stocking fee.
